I don't know of a person in the world that doesn't like this car.. As an owner of a 52-54 Ford, this car is pretty much perfection to me. It is very simple and tasteful, everything a mild kustom should be. It is currently owned by Jimmie Vaughn, a very talented musician and kustom car collector. Most folks know that it was done for him by another great, Gary Howard. Gary is an awesome car builder in Texas that has built some spectacular cars, both for Jimmie and many others. The next paragraph is in no way any dis-respect to Jimmie or Gary, as they were the guys that took this car to the level that it is now.....
However.... Rewind back about 10 years.... There are not too many that actually know where this car came from. This car was originally from Southern California and owned by a fellow that I knew as "Ziggy". In 2001, at the WCK Paso Robles show, I chased this next car around the park. My attempt was to get photos of it before everyone and their brother got in the park...

As you can see, the car really didn't change much from it's humble beginnings. In talking to Ziggy for some time, he told me that Jim Sr. and Jim Jr. at Bruns Kustom City in Chatsworth did a great deal on this car. I have admired their work since the first time I laid eyes on Sr's Black Dahlia, and that was in the late 80's or early 90's. Stay tuned for more on Bruns Kustom City, as I am putting together a nice story on them.
I was in love with this car in green suede, who knew it could get even better.
