Everybody knows, I am a complete sucker for an early Ranchero.  Here is the latest ride you can see Von Franco driving...  The upside...  Franco never keeps a car very long.  Hopefully I am at the right place, at the right time...

Well, after a small delay in getting this blogger thing going again, I think I may have a handle on it.  I am not really very good at this computer stuff.  Thank you to those that stuck by me, while I figure this stuff out.  To those that didn't.....  You know where to go and how to get there...

 

 We took my good pal, Greg's 56 chevy to Eagle Field a while back.  You are probably sick and tired of me saying over and over again what an awesome place this is.  Too bad...  My dad and I are building a 65 Comet, so when we saw this Fairlane, I was all over it.  It is powered by a very healthy (14 to 1) 289 with a Jerico 4 speed.  Make no mistake, this thing means business and runs like it is very pissed off.

I spoke to the owner at great lengths.  He was a hell of a nice guy and very kool to talk to...  Although, the car ran horrible on Sunday, due to some MSD box trouble, it was a complete animal on the track Saturday...  He even lined up next to Greg... 

 

Maybe, we are back in business...
