Another weekend is upon me....  I basically have 3 weeks to build a car that needs 2 months worth of work....

Around 1998

This was the first run for this car.  It did not really go to well this time out.  It has been used quite a few times, but is still alive.  Look for a return in 2012.  It will almost fit in the back of my truck, now....

Somebody has a birthday.....

Somebody very special to me has a birthday today...  She brought me into this world, and put up with me.  I have done some pretty stupid things in my life and she never dis-owned me...  Happy Birthday Mom!!!!

Lazy Friday....

It seems as much as I try to finish projects to relax, I end up getting in to other stuff...  I busted my butt on my own car for the Santa Maria show.  After that, I thought it was a good time to pull my Pontiac out and finish prepping it for paint in hopes to sell it off.  Then, about a week ago, demolition derby fever hit me again.  It seems totally stupid to go to the trouble to build a car with the purpose of beating it up...  Here is something even stupider.....  Build a car so that someone else can beat it up....  Well, after a couple of long days at the shop, I think I beat myself up worse than the car....  With that in mind, I took the day off....  It was nice to not get dirty today, but now I have to work twice as hard the next time....

Prep for paint...  Going for that lazer straight finish....  NOT....
